What a nice weekend! On Friday I went out and had a very nice time. I’m not gonna get all jinxy and discuss it, but sufficed to say I went home with a big smile. Patxi’s for excellent pizza, yummy ice cream, and Meet The Robinsons, an awesome little disney flick. We’ll discuss this more after this coming weekend perhaps.

Cassidy finally went and saw Cloverfield without me thank god. I didn’t like Blairwitch, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t like Cloverfield. The silly review in the onion did it for me. Assholes, all of them!

In the soccer world, Arsenal pulled farther ahead of Chelsea and ManU again. Bleh. Good for Cassidy, bad for me! Werder Bremen managed to not win as well, so it was a shafty weekend for my sports teams. And screw the superbowl, could have watched it, totally didn’t care.

Hummmmmm…. Thats it for nows!

What an adorable movie. I recorded it a while ago and finally got around to watching it after acrobatics today. Heels look like a difficult prospect, but I did like the line in the movie about how wearing heels activates/accentuates certain calf and thigh muscles that also indicate readiness for mating. I never knew that!

Cassidy and I watched lots of things today. We watched Chelsea continue on in the FA Cup. We watched Patrick Stewart rock the house in Extras. We yelled and screamed while watching season 2 of Battlestar Galactica. We watched Lady in the Water and I actually liked it, but Cassidy fell asleep with the cat. All in all a good day.

My matress arrived this morning. I’m going to sleep on my own bed in my own house for the first time since May of last year. Its just too bad I’m all alone on such a rainy night :)

So, I’ve done a few things to ring in the New Year. Mainly, watched 2 awesome movies: Holiday with Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn, and Stardust. They’ve made me feel a few ways, and I will describe these ways for you:

Holiday

This movie is fantastic! Not only is it cute, it has Grant and Hep falling in love! Okay, so anyways, this movie screamed at that little part of my brain that has always been jealous of people doing handstands and things of that nature.  SOOOOO, I’m signing up for Beginning Chinese Acrobatics. Seriously. I’m going to learn how to tumble and fly and all those things. And when I feel like I’m in better shape, I’m also going to sign up for tumbling, so I can learn to do handsprings. It’s going to happen!

Stardust

Stardust is an adorable movie that speaks volumes to someone who feels like they might have fallen for the wrong person in the recent past. Damn you Victoria and your wicked ways. Do you ever feel like you’ve learned to put up with far to much bullshit for the sake of trying to find love? I certainly do.  I’m certainly going to be doing it less, I freaking swear.

Besides that, my New Year has begun with little else besides a bit of hope and a sprained ankle.  I lost my picture formatting gusto, but I’m almost almost done. I just need to finish the last half of 2007, and then UPLOAD them. And Voila, several years of pictures availabl. I’m very excited.
