I feel like my interest in the whole goth/industrial scene is becoming rapidly re-invigorated. For a long while I’d been a rare guest at Death Guild and other such pit stops…. My knowledge of the music scene had even begun to wain a little…. but damn, all of a sudden I can’t get enough of it again… Went to Death Guild a couple times, Folsom, the Cruxshadows and baam! I love my boots again and I’ve spent all my free time listening to new stuff…. So here’s where I’m at:

Stromkern - Perfect Sunrise, most addicting track ever.

Peter Heppner - The singer from Wolfsheim has emerged from all this lawsuit garbage with a solo album. It’s like Wolfsheim with less poppy synth and no Artist - Track announcement at the beginning. Strange. But I think I like it.

Mind.In.A.Box - Soothing, mellow, nice. Good completement to artists like Neuroactive.

Iris - New album, mostly a mix album, but I’ll take it.

Bigod20 - Industrial covers of Madonna from the 90’s, where its at…

Fixmer & McCarthy - Deep as hell. It’s gonna take me a while to get my hands around this band and come out with a valid opinion. But damn. I like.

Also of note: Sero.Overdose, Fictional, Rotersand, Unheilig, Regenerator, Din Fiv…

Basically, I knocked the crap out of my “Music Wants” list over the last couple days, and I’m so excited to dig into all this meaty goodness…. And go to more clubs and stop around. Goodnight.
