It’s been a while since I’ve put anything of subtance up, so I’d better give it a shot! I guess I do have some important things to note!

So I guess the big thing needing explanation would be Kiah, the most bombrad girl ever. We met for the first time at the beginning of the semester, we share English 5 together. She sat next to me and we have talked ever since. Her best friend Izzy is in that class as well, and the three of us hit it of really well right away. I usually spent the next two hours after class talking with the two of them. At first, I thought of them as just really awesome friends, but then I began to think to myself “Kiah….hmmm.” I decided I’d observe how I acted around her carefully, and decide whether it meant anything… Of course, that week was the week a family member passed, and she flew off to the East coast. So, like that one over-used quote says, I didn’t know I’d miss her ’till she was gone! I came to the realization that talking to Kiah was part of my week I really looked forward to.

So, benefiting from that bit of clarity, I decided to move cautiously. Our first outing away from school was very safe, we took siblings Trick or Treating on Halloween, and I think I wrote about that some, it was very fun. I then asked Kiah to come to SF with me when I went to SFSU. That was a huge success, and I really thought we were hitting it off wonderfully, but doubt still lingered. So after that, we spent all kinds of time together, but I was still very doubtful! Kiah did a very job of staying very neutral, so much so in fact, that even Dan was fooled!

The break didn’t come till one week ago, Tuesday night. Kiah, Izzy, Dan and I all watched a movie and sat around talking till 5am. But, at one point in the night, Kiah claims I challenged her to knock me off the couch, and she proceeded to kick my ass in ways I didn’t deem possible. She tossed me, bit me, and even yanked a sizeable chunk of my hair! In my state of shock, I was thoroughly destroyed by her. Yes, I admit it, a girl kicked my ass. BUT it was such a good thing!

So on Friday joined me for my sister Jenn’s birthday party, and afterward, we returned to my apartement and snuggled while watching Three to Tango. I love that first bit of snuggling, especially after wanting to snuggle on several occasions. Apparently she loved that first bit of snuggling to, because the first bit of kissing followed shortly thereafter.

So that generally brings you up to speed! We spent Sunday night eating dinner and watching Notting Hill, and I think we’ll be seeing a lot of each other this weekend as well!

So, if you want to know more bout her, please allow me to tell! She’s awesome, she listens to music I approve of, and has seen more than a small smattering of excellent movies. She’s funny, tough, smart (really really smart), pretty, and sooo much fun to be around. And she’s put me in an excellent mood, and it might just show!

So, I think I’ve said enough about her for now…. Dan would say I probably didn’t put enough emphasis on our wrestling match, but that’s his story, not mine… he tells it better!

  1. Yaaaaaay! Kiah really is grand. Good job oddjob.

  2. Cool! She sounds really neat-o. I like her name as well, it sounds exotic. The best kinds of relationships are ones that start out as friends IMO.

  3. CUTE!! I am happy for you. I want to meet this girl someday….
