Today was kind of interesting. We had a barbeque at Jeremy’s house. I made the burger patties, and gave both Ben and Dan skanky handshakes. Jeremy let me sit behind the wheel of his father’s BMW M3 ….. it was love!
The highlight of the night was definitely seeing Pirates of the Caribbean! That movie was freakin awesome! It totally reminded me of the days when I had pirate legos, and imagined myself a pirate from time to time. Johnny Depp was absolutely hilarious….. sooooooooo funny. AND the Airport Cinemas 8 didn’t burn the film, so Derek was pardoned for making me see a movie there. But yeah, the movie totally rocked all kinds of pairs of socks. Except the undead monkey, he was a wanker. I wasn’t such a fan of the cinematography though, but that’s just me getting all analytical and such.
After the movie, we were feeling very piratey, so while some of the less dedicated members of our crew returned to Healdsburg, Jeremy, Anjie, Derek and myself sailed off to Carrows. We all gave our cars pirate ship names. Derek has the Interceptor (the fastest ship in the fleet), Jeremy has the Black Pony (His car is a Ford Pony), and I have Old Iron Sides. “She may not be much to look at, but she’s got it where it counts” as Jeremy described my car. My car may also be referenced as the Swedish Galleon, but Old Iron Sides is better in my opinion.
I got another Hot Fudge Sundae and learned a valuable lesson: I need to quell my urge to chew on things more often! While gnawing on a creamer cup that came with Jeremy’s coffee, I clamped to hard and it exploded all over the place. It was all over my face and my hands…. a wee bit embarassing.
Ohh. I did go running today, I did turn in applications, and I did get my phone fixed. Hurrah! All is well! It’s probably about time for bed now. So Long.
