Easter was one crazy day. The day began with a brunch on fountain grove. That was nice. I noticed that I pay far to much attention to the staff. I’m such a little yuppy now. Everyone said the place was really nice, and compared to the dives I normally eat at it was, but because I spend so much time in such a high class resteraunt, I didn’t even notice that it was the slightest bit fancy. The Dry Creek Kitchen has tainted me haha…..
Next came dinner at my Great-Grandfather’s house. We also celebrated his 99th birthday. I saw lots of cousins I haven’t seen in a long while. I also spent about 2 hours talking with my cousin Molly’s husband, because he was such a great guy. He works at Prima! If you’re not “in the know” about such things, Prima is a company that makes guides for video games. So, for his living, he plays video games and then writes about them. So, anyways, we had this massive discussion about games, how useless Prima’s line of Everquest strategy guides were, and about new/upcomming Massive-multi – RPG’s! That Bastard has played Star Wars: Galaxies…….. I’m jealous….. but then again maybe not… he had sad words about SW galaxies….
Then!!!!! Post party I went to a huge rave in SF. After so much family I needed time with complete strangers. I Drove down with Anjie, Derek, and Chrism in the passenger seats. We got to the city at bouts 11, and promptly found the club after a bit of fanoodling. It was on the waterfront, and the laserlights playing over the water set up a very nice atmosphere! I got to see Simon Apex, Anthony Madd, some Keoki, Dj Liquid, and some other random heads…. Dancing all night made me feel pretty darn good….. it’s really funny how the music can just grab ahold of you and put you 20 minutes in the future without a moments notice…. good times that rave, all had fun…. Green I think it was called, some sort of 4-20 celebration (which for most ravers involves E, not weed… but I guess that’s besides the point)…… No E for me though, ick ick ick!
Work tonight was very very very interesting…. more on that some other time when I’m not so bloody tired..
I will be going to the zoo tommorow, hopefully it won’t rain… I’d love it to be raining if I was going alone, but since I’ll have company,
