Valentines day is over! and it was a complete success!!!!

*does the happy dance like a ferret*

My sister has a picture of me and Kristin together on my little sisters birthday…. lets see if I can get it online…………… Mwhahaah!!!

Kristin and I
That’s us! I look relatively goofy though……

Anyways……… Without further ado

Heres the inside scoop on all the goings onses from the 14th of February, 2003!

10:25 am – I Pick up flowers at Henry’s Flower shop. They look lovely, I am quite pleased with the florist.

11:10 am – I call Kristin’s cellphone and leave a big “Happy Valentines!” message.

11:15 am – I get to work 15 minutes late!

5:30 pm – I’m finally the hell out of work, on the freeway, racing home! Time to prepare myself.

5:45 pm – Pick up my surprise dessert… back onto the freeway

6:45 pm – After showering, shaving, making myself look very slick in black pants, new black vans, and my pretty blue shirt, I knock on Kristins door. Her mother answers, I hide the flowers behind my back. I enter, Kristin comes scooting around the corner, the flowers are presented and ***OHMIGOSHES*** I realize that she looks spectacular! Amazingly spectacular even! She had this red dress on, and this black jacket…… She looked lovely! Then, instantly, I’m shocked right out of my amazed state by a flurry of hugs! After the hugs we exchange words with the parent and we are off!

7:00 pm – In Treehorn books, Kristin listens to me babbling about poetry… after about 25 minutes I realize I need to shut up and we goto the resteraunt.

7:30 pm – Food at the Thai house. My favorite resteraunt and always a classy choice for any occasion!

9:30 pm – We buy milk at Ralph’s, it’s dessert time!

10:00 pm – At my house, it’s surprise time again! With her eyes shut she enters my room and discovers ….. close to 60 candles encircle the room and light it up! And, strangely enough it smells very nice…. why? The ferret is not present! I cleaned up my room and let him hang out elsewheres for the evening, so for just one night we had no ferret stinky in my room! She thinks this is absolutely lovely. Now we break out our desserts. Her surprise to me is a Pink Lemonade & Strawberry pie! It reminds me of Strawberry yogurt with a surge of sugar in the aftertaste! Very intersting and original, quite tasty as well. My surprise dessert is a Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream cake, made for two, and beautifully decorated. She loved it!

10:30 pm – Present time! My present is the surprise I am most proud of! She opens it and it is…… A Sewing pattern! More specifically a sewing pattern of a 40′s looking dress that’s extremely cute! Why is this so great? A. I had to search several fabric stores to find this discontinued pattern. Guys and fabric stores generally don’t mix…. it was a scary time finding it for sure hehe…. B. She loves to sew, has a sewing class and needed a new project to work on. C. She absolutely loves dresses from the 40′s and 50′s! So with this little number I scored a whopping success! Woot!!!!!! She couldn’t stop hugging me…….. As you might be able to guess, I got alot of hugs last night hehe. Her presents were just as nice. The first was High Fidelity on DvD. An excellent choice, because I always say how I mean to buy it, and I never do. She knew I would need someone to do it for me or I would never get it hehehe! The next was a candle…. a very high quality smelly candle.. that would keep the ferret stinky away very nicely! Far better than any of the candles that I had bought for the day. Huraah! And last but not least, a card upon which were to little penguins holding hands. I almost died when I saw it! It’s the most precious card ever! Inside was some very small print taking up the whole left page saying some of the sweetest, kindest things that have ever been said to me!

All in all, it was the most fabulous evening. Everything worked out perfectly and she was surprised at every turn. We were so happy, and I had sooo much fun setting everything up.

Yep yep, thats everything! Now who else had an amazing Valentines day?
