Today in Women’s History we watched this video about Inquisition, and the burning of women as witches for over 300 years. The video pointed out that 80% of up to 4 million people killed for heresey were women, and this was due largely in part to men, and catholicism. Men are bastards. Mysogeny is god-awful.
In other news, I’m sore as all bloody hell….. I’ve been “hittin the weights” pretty darn hard, and I’m not giving myself any chance to slack off.
On Saturday it was my little sister’s 8th birthday, and Kristin came with me and she met my whole family. It was an extremely interesting affair. It’s always strange hearing other peoples opinions on one’s family, especially since she thought my whole family was really really cool (sans the father of course, but he never counts). Supposedly my mother is insanely cool.. Now I’ve always loved my mother dearly, but can she really be cooler than other mom’s? But yeah, meeting the parents was alot of fun for her, and all kinds of fun for me to watch hehe!
