New Years Eve was pretty amusing. I chilled about with Jasper for most of the day, and then me and Jasper chilled with Dan. Kristin got off work at 8:00 pm, so I picked her up and we went to Kodi’s house. The rest of the night was pretty random, we watched orgazmo, walked around, and talked. Kristin met a good chunk of my friends, and I think she had a pretty good time. We left kind of early, but then we sat outside her house in my car for close to an hour. One wouldn’t think that snuggling is possible in the front 2 seats of a Volvo, but somehow we made it possible. Good stuff.
New Years Day I worked from 11 till 5, and that basically sucked. I was tired, and It was to slow to get my adrenaline up and keep me awake. After work, I cleaned up and picked Kristin up. We planned on going shopping and I was going to spend all of my gift certificates, but after several stops we discovered that on New Years Day pretty much everything closes at 6:00. Twas lame. So after a bit more random driving we decided to rent some stuff. She picked out 1941, and I chose High Fidelity. Went back to my place, chose to watch 1941 first. Pretty funny movie, and it turns out that Toshiro Mifune is in it. He’s the japanese actor how plays Kikuchiyo in Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai!
I’ve discovered that watching movies at home is alot more fun that seeing movies in theatres when with a girl. At my house there is snuggling, warm blankets, and readily available food and drink. At the theatre the seats are no good, and food is expensive. At my house, the remote control makes the lights go out…. there are no such benefits of this kind in a theatre.
On Wednesday of next week I will be taking the 10 hour drive to Reno and back in order to purchase a Ferret. $130 for years of companionship, what a steal!
This weekend Kristin is quite busy, and on Monday she returns to school, so in essence our winter break romance has come to a close, and will become naught but a normal romance. So sad…. but it’s been good…. really good! So what will I be doing Friday/Saturday/Sunday ? FERRET PREP!! WEEEEE!!! Time to bundle all the cords, seal all the cracks, assemble the cage and purchase various forms of odor control! W00t!
Anyways, I’m off to work.
