The 50 Word short story:

This was a regular assignment given to me by my english teacher in Junior year. It was first introduced to me in Sophmore year as then”100 word short story.” I prefer making both, but for this one, I used only 50 words.

The creation of one is simple, yet difficult and fun. The story must have certain parts to it, while still retaining only 50 words.

The parts are:
~A storyline
~Dialogue
~At least 2 Characters.
~Some descriptive wording.

So heres mine, after reading it though, you should try and right one of your own, they are very fun, and a good way to spend your mental energies.

The Slip
“Why did you do it?” Michael asked.

Among the shards, Azrael cowered.

“I didn’t mean to. I…I lost control.”

He did not receive a reply, only silence.

Understandingly, Azrael spread his wings and left.

“He won’t be pleased, It took seven of his days to build this.” thought Michael.
