3 scenes down, 3 to go.

So yesterday we shot 3 of 6 total live action scenes. We did #2,# 4, and #5. A little cheesy, but it was fun, and it will look good. We have scenes #7, #8, and #10 left to do.

For scene #7 I’m torn now, this occurs right after the trees of light are destroyed/consumed, and I’m thinking might it be better to just leave voices on a black screen? It might be more dramatic, but it also might be a tad boring, I’m thinking it might just be better to do it in close to darkness, so forms are visible. Not sure.

Also have Feanor giving a speach to the Noldor (#8), this will be done just looking at Feanor as he adresses an unseen audience.

The final scene is the Battle beneath the stars…. now it won’t actually be beneath the stars, but I’ll wait till it’s a slight dusk to shoot it. This will be composed of several elves, and several orcs, and I’m going to make several little battle clips . The orcs will be normal with green facepaint, maybe fangs , a little cheesy, but hey, its a student film
That should be the most fun of all, we will get to break out all the weaponry we have between us all, yay! Well, my independent studies teacher just called, and she wants some work, so I’d better do some and turn it in….. I’ll be back later!
