alrighty then!

So last night was a fun night of work, we hosted a very large party for the magazine ‘Wine Spectator”. It was a magnum party. The concept behind a magnum party is this: Invitation only, 250 invitations were sent (each invitation involves 1-4 people usually), and every person who comes to the party brings a Magnum (A large wine bottle twice the volume of a normal bottle) to the party, in which everyone can drink from. So, rather quickly, our 4 bars scattered throughout the hotel became cluttered with huge bottal of wine. More then 350 magnums were there I believe (some groups only brought 1 bottle per 2 people). So, as you can imagine, people were drunk. There was also a live band till midnight, and a dancing floor. And tons of food put out by our kitchen. It was pretty amusing to work last night, and we got off at 2 in the mornin.

At 2 me and Dan went and lounged in the screen lounge for about an hour, drinking lemonade. Then I came home, and got no sleep. Swell!

Filming of my short movie “The Silmarillion” starts today, and in theory we will get more than a few scenes completed. Hopefully that will run smoothly.
