Its the day of days! BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!! It looks like between me and Cassidy we have almost $200 for pizza. Thats alot of freakin pizza. Iceskating will be a blast to…. Sheesh, I’d better not talk about it because doing so fills me with anticipation. So, lets talk about somethin else here now then. Prom is in a week. I’m not sure if I’m going to go or not, but everyone is telling me I should. The thing is, I promised myself I wouldn’t go unless certain conditions were met. They are: 1.) An amusing tux of some sort 2.) A decent date (the hardest part), 3.) A reason to go that wasn’t just “because its my senior prom and I’ll regret it”. The amusing tux is slighty expendable, if the other 2 were satisfied I could see myself going, but as it is, I have a week left and I doubt any progress will be made unless I come across someone very cool who doesn’t mind a last minute invitation to the prom. But this is all theoretical talk here. My guess is that by thursday of next week, I will have been pressured into going by my sis, anjie, and several other people. Friday morning I will race down to the tux place and rent what ever awful boring tux they have, and Friday night I’ll have a slightly amusing time. There is my proffessional opinion on my future actions if things stay the same as they are now. I think tonight will be a much better night than prom night, at least from my point of view from this moment in time. I get proven wrong alot though, so what do I know.

I talked to Tim of the Actionslacks the other day, I’ve been trying to convince him to come up to Petaluma and play a show or two at the Pheonix. I think it might be working. He says possibly in the fall after the new album is cut. I’m going suggest maybe he try the Raven in Healdsburg also. They’ve been doing lots of live shows there. Tim is also doing several solo accoustic shows throughout California. There is one the day after the Healdsburg prom in LA, I’m considering going . If I don’t make it though, he has told me there will be several accoustics in San Franciso later this summer, so expect me to be going to every single show! And hopefully, I will bring everyone along and they will all become big fans of the slacks! Why? Because the Slacks are the greatest, and they are local (relatively), and they deserve all our support !

Ahh yes, enough of my ranting, but as you can see, the Actionslacks are great, and their singer (Tim) rules, because he actually tells me what the band is up to.
