Excellent, this is the first time I’ve used my computer since Friday. In fact, last night was the first time I slept in my bed since Friday. Crazy
Friday night we wen’t to the Phoenix, it ended up being a crew of 15 instead of the smaller numbers I predicted. Chrism, Chrisk, Mo, Mariel, Kodi, Anjie, Haley, Adam, Troy, Keith, Derek, Matt, Anna and myself all attended. Funny thing was right as we got in I almost never saw anyobdy I knew, only Adam and Haley seemed to be findable. Oh well. Velveteen was decent, and I really liked American? Americana? Well anyways they had a keyboardist who was cool, and he sang with a robot voice. Fun stuff. On the way back I crammed into Mariel’s car because it seems that Matt had already left. 6 people to a Volvo is interesting, but I’m pretty sure it could fit more.
Back at Chrisk’s house his parents weren’t around so me, Derek, and Chrism stayed over. The next day we loafed around for way to long (We never left). Eventually our loafing was joined by other people and it became the party I mentioned in an earlier post. Decent party, no barf, no violence. I slept well to.
Next day me and Chris loafed some more until I realized it was 5, and I had to get to SR to get a book, and I had told Tapespaz I’d show up at her work in the mall and say hello. On that note, Carlton Cards is a rather looney place. I must have seemed like an idiot to Miss Tapespaz for I kept spinning around and staring at random things during our conversation because I was slightly overwhelmed. I won’t spoil the experience though. I suggest everyone try it out. In the mall I also got the Food Lover’s Companion. It’s a dictionary full of food terms, very nifty, and very frightening.
On the way home I almost died, that was swell. I was going down Mendocino at around 35, there were 2 lanes in my direction, and this purple Hona passes me and pulls into my lane with about 2 feet to spare, slows to my speed, then slams on the break and pulls a U-turn. The problem with this? She slowed to around 10 MPH with no warning. If I had been watching her and slammed on my breaks into a little rear skid, I would have crashed right into her. I hate drivers sometimes. If I had been in a car I would have slammed right into her tailside. Idiot! Idiot ! … Ah well, thus is life on motorcycles.
This week might be a good week if it gets warm. I’m still considering a road trip to Indio California for the Foo Fighters, that might be fun. Who knows though, the week is still young !
